Cynthia A. Wilkerson has a love for the creations of God. Believing that life is enhanced by the beauty of the natural world, she finds inspiration for her photos, drawings, floral arrangements and graphic designs from the patterns, forms and textures found in the world around her.

Although her favorite photo subject is macro florals, she finds subjects anywhere she can point a lens.  A camera's focus helps her to see the things she draws, more visually than just painting or drawing "En Plein Aire".   She finds the camera sees things her eyes miss - like the sky's reflection in the eye of a bird.

Allowing Floral and Interior design to fill her need to create, for most of her professional life, she has now discovered the digital age and loves the doors it opens both for art and getting the art to the veiwer. The variety of styles and media with which she enjoys working, isn't limited to having previous knowlege. She loves the challenge of discovery, and desires to keep her mind active for as long as life will allow.  Raised in a crafty family, exposed to design over a broad spectrum, and open to all the ways an artist's work might be used, she keeps in mind how each design or pic might fit into a project  as she makes it. "My designs nor my photos are ever just for the art's sake.  I always keep in mind there is a reason why people buy or need my work."
