Faith and Inspiration ~ on Pinterest

It is important to note that the art and photos on the pages of this website belong to Me. Cynthia A. Wilkerson.  They are completely and totally mine, with one or two exceptions, where my husband's work is shown.  In the case of the Graphics, I have drawn all the art and graphics, have made the floodfills, patterns, and brushes.  Sometimes I have also made the letters, but rely on  Font makers for the fonts.

There are pictures of floral arrangements, or gardens, and except where noted, they are mine. Helen, Ga. being a major exception.  The pictures are my own, and the edits as well.  Crops are from my own photos, etc.

I say this to help viewers understand that the work is mine from start to finish.  If there is a flower arrangement, I made it. If there are flowers, generally I planted them, except some wildflowers, or public gardens.  If there is artwork, or grahics material I designed it.  That is the essence of the name I chose for my work. "Prink" in the dictionary means: "dressed for show, preened."

I love to take something I have and dress it up. I love to recycle, replenish, renew, restore, and restructure.  I made the furniture in my gardens with wood from a burned out house.  I have even made dyes from crushed flowers on my deck. I have pressed both my own flowers and wildflowers and then turned that and a few rocks into jewelry.  I PRINK things.  I love to Prink things.

I love to make art, especially of found objects, and I do many kinds of crafts. Some I have sold, but I also spend hours with the kids in the neighborhood, or my own grandchildren just having fun.  I love to paint but it's my least productive medium. since I can do so much on the computer.

Please note that Prinked Ink, Prinkin' It, Pretty In Prink, Properly Prinked, and many other versions of the use of the word are part of my branding, with all rights reserved.  Light kisses, Korner Kisses, Goose Pair,  and other such titles for the graphics are also all rights reserved.

Please enjoy the work, and I am happy to allow persons to learn from my work.  Just please use your own imagination to produce your own style of dressing things as you see them. And links or references to my work would be appreciated when you learn from my pages.

I find inspiration as you might on Pinterest and in nature. And I have found fellow Prinkers in every area of art  or crafting.  Few things are NEW ideas in art or design. Someone else has often already thought of it.  But I seldom reference other work to produce my own.  I have plenty of ideas to keep me busy.

Items on this site become sorely old hat very quickly.  Very little of my work from 2015 or 2016 is on here.  But this site becomes a journal of sorts to capture some old favorites as I have grown as an artist and photographer.  And I suggest everyone discover a means by which they can journal their work.  I genuinely love going  back through old work to remember this little tirck or that.  Often it only takes a few minutes to find somehting I had forgotten.

Some of these things are spread out through files that would take hours to find.  That's why I like the memories here.  This sight is as much for me and for anyone.  And there are dozens of layers right here to peruse.

Spend an hour or two here, and hopefully be inspired.  Thanks for visiting PRINKED INK!
