A Gallery of Gardens

Organized masses of color, which draw you to them to linger...take pictures...smille.

The Everchanging Gardens of Helen, Ga.

Each time we visit Helen, the gardens are delightfully different.  I love to stroll through and view the masses of flowers with the light from various angles. Sometimes at daybreak in the early mountain mists, sometimes in bright afternoon sun...the gardens are well organized to be seen from any view.

My Personal Gardens

I am blessed when I am in my yard making anything into a garden.  Or adding an element to my gardens.  I have had or been involved with vegetable gardens, but because of our trees, we are plagued with mildews, which make food grown here impalatable.  So I plant everything I can that will come back next year, I am finding that container, and hanging gardens are my favorite,  But a large vine garden provides the back drop for any color I can gleen.  The Azaleas and dogwoods, pear trees, peonies, and shamrocks in my front yard never cease to please me.  Jesus was said to go to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray, and I find that gardens are very condusive to prayer for me as well.

Hanging Gardens, Potted Gardens, Deck Gardens, Bulb Gardens, Indoor Gardens and more...

Anywhere we can make a garden portable, or place the beauty and color of a garden above the ground, and where the garden seems most unlikely...that's where I love a planted garden. The variety of containers and the wonder of the freshness they bring to gloomy spaces is endless.
