A cartooned drawing, along the lines where the color was enhanced, give these pictures a painted look. This one looks paint by number vintage.

I love this image the way it is, but I sometimes draw around the petals with a transparency brush. A lot of magic can happen there. Not sure if I could make this one any more perfect.

I want to take this graphic one step further and ad a fabic weave to it. It looks like I took a picture of a flower on a sofa to me.
